Your own travel app, run from the same admin as your website

A native Expo / React Native app for iOS and Android ships with Nodes Travels. It uses your website's suppliers, prices and markups, and you publish it under your own store accounts.

What the app does

Search flights and hotels

The same live supplier results, prices and admin markup as your website.

Packages, offers, blog, reviews

Browse your holiday packages, current offers, blog posts and approved reviews.

My trips and account

Customers sign in with their website account and see their bookings.

Request forms

Trains, buses, cabs, visa, insurance and custom holidays arrive in Admin > Leads tagged as mobile app enquiries.

Push notifications

Sent through the Expo push service. Permission is asked only when the customer turns it on.

Offline-friendly

Config, packages, offers and blog are cached on the phone. Live prices and personal data are never cached.

Controlled at runtime, not at build time

The app has no business details compiled in. Name, colours, enabled modules, banners, announcement text, maintenance message, minimum supported version and support contacts all load from your server when the app opens.

Change them in Admin > Mobile app and every installed copy picks them up on next launch, without a new store submission.

  • Branding and colours
  • Module on/off switches
  • Home banners and announcement
  • Maintenance mode
  • Minimum version (force update)
  • Push sending, devices and signed-in sessions

How booking and payment work in the app

  1. 1

    Customer taps Book

The app asks your server for a one-time link that works once and expires after two minutes.

  2. 2

    Checkout opens in-app

The link opens your website checkout in an in-app browser, already signed in as the same customer.

  3. 3

    Your gateways handle payment

Payment runs through the same gateways, fraud checks and invoices as the website. The app never handles card or UPI details.

Frequently asked questions

Is the app a web view of the site?

No. Search, results, packages, account and trips are native screens built with React Native. Only checkout hands off to your website in an in-app browser so payments stay on your verified gateways.

Where are customer tokens stored?

In the operating system keychain or keystore through SecureStore, never in plain storage.

Can admins sign in to the app?

No. The app is for customers. Admin accounts are blocked from app sign-in by design.

Does Google sign-in work in the app?

Yes, when Google is switched on in Admin > Sign-in options. It runs in the system browser and returns a one-time code to that app instance.
